  • Our 10th Month

    Hi everyone out there!

I know it's been a while since we updated our blog, we have not forgotten about it! It has been very busy for both of us and we never had the chance to set aside some time! Anyways, updates...

    December
This month was filed with love and joy! My little sister and her hubby came back from the states and Canada! We spent a great deal of time doing family stuff and celebrating. Also went around Hong Kong to camhore! hahaha...

    January

Went on tons of mini-outings. Despite my love for shopping, I truly enjoy spending quality time sightseeing and appreciating nature. One couple must go hot spot is the Science Museum!

Although I have been there a million times, it still amazes me how much fun you can get from doing the crazy activities they have there!

Lg found his new tennis partner while exploring the museum!

This is an example of how koolies work on the boats in the old days.

I went on the huge hamster treadmill.

    February
This is the month of romance...cuz of VALENTINE'S DAY!!! This year we also had to celebrate Chinese New Year on the same day!

Valentine's Day was really special for me cuz lg brought home a new member - TIGER

This small little thing brought so much laughter and love to our house!!!

lg also decorated our room with hearts hanging down from the ceiling!

And of course present and roses was not forgotten! Thank you so much lg! You spoil me!

Tiger received his first red pocket! I got to keep the $$$ he got from CNY because I am his MOMMY! hahahhaha...

After the clash of Chinese and Western festival celebration, we headed to Shanghai with my family.

    At Shanghai, Xing Wong Temple

    March
I never believe in birthday celebrations after 20. It seems that it gets more depressing with a passing year. By celebrating the lost of youth is really sad. I guess life has to go on.

Anyways, my birthday is right on White Day! This year I got to celebrate it two times!
First with my wonderful friends on 13th March:

and as always... lg was there~

he actually took most of the photos, except the ones that he is in...

On the 14th we went to a farm in Tai Po! The ride was pretty hectic, but really worth it!

    We went rope climbing

The ropes were actually suitable for adults!

    Then we visited the horses~

The night ended really beautifully at a Swiss Restaurant called Chelsa located inside the Peninsula Hotel

The fine dinner and fabulous service was rather memorable!

The night ended with 2 dozen of cupcakes left!

    To my dear lg,

With our recent celebration of 10th month together, I must say that I am as happy as any girl could get. I can recall the lyrics of a song ' everyday can be valentine's day', spending each moment with you is indeed valentine's day. Every bit and piece of puzzle that we put together is so memorable! Although your good planning for each celebration made everything wonderful, but with you by my side I can already feel the happiness that makes my life fulfilling. Thank you so much for being a wonderful hubby!!! My dear lg you are always the best! ;)

  • Happiest Seven Months of Life!

Dear bubu and all friends out here:
It's been awhile since our last blog! Just to let you guys know we are not dead nor separated...we have been spending a lot of  happy time together ;)  In fact, we are spending so much time together that this has been the first night where I am not sleeping together with her in many months!  Taking a look backwards, many memorable moments have passed by between us and they were certainly beautiful to us...Here is a tight flashback:

    November

Following our six month anniversary, we made a trip to Murray House at Stanley where we had an exotic taste of Spanish food @ "Mijas"..

And of course...simply great food and environment won't suffice...without the surprise!!!

...which I had derived from the floating house concept in the Pixar movie "UP":

    Glad she loved it ;)

    December

For our 7 month anniversary, I took her to the famous Italian restaurant of the region in Tsim Tsa Tsui, namely "Sabatini Ristorante" located at the Royal Garden Hotel.  We personally loved this restaurant for its authentic Italian food and environment coupled with the professional waiters and band singers.  Here is a taste of our memorable evening:

Since it was the 23rd, just a day away from Xmas eve, we took our chance to take photos over at the TST Harbour Plaza, which had been recommended for its glamorous purple decorations!

P..S. bubu: these were the happiest 7 months of my life. Thank you for being in my life!

  • ~ An entry to my logong ~

    Dear logong,

Thank you for coming into my life! You allow me to be who I am and never asked for more. Just being around you made me smile! You gave me strength to keep my dreams. My dreams which I longed to have someone to share and now I have you!

I cherish every moment I have spent with you! Studying together and going to Taiwan, it seemed like it was just yesterday!!! I remember the month we spent apart and how hard it was, but now I smile every time I think back as we will never spend a day apart anymore!!!! Our first Macau trip was amazing experience and then came 2 other times that filled up my November calendar! You made every day a very special day for me! The past six months, is nothing… as I sincerely believe that there will be many many more to come!

    Happy 6 Months!!! Love you!!!

  • ~Travelling Macau 1~

Living in Hong Kong, we are spoiled by great entertainment, wonderful shopping and huge variety of cuisines. Being in such a marvelous city, many would say that we city people never need to crave for anything as what we want is always at the tip of our hands. It might sound bratty to say this, but at times we do get tired of this fast paced city life of ours and want to escape to somewhere else for a breathe of 'fresher' air. Macau only an hour boat ride away is a great choice for a mini weekend escape!

In August, me and lg went to Macau to celebrate our 3 month anniversary.

We spent our night at Altira in Taipa. The hotel was said to be six star. According to the world standard, there is only a 5 star scale, the sixth star comes from the service. To us two, quality of living is actually not as important in comparison to our dining, thus we did not expected much from the hotel. However, to our surprise, we both agreed that it was one of the best hotel suites in Macau. Not only is the room luxurious, it also offers almost a bird eye view of the entire Taipa coast line.

Altira offers a modern comfort with style. Their interior decor is very suitable for young couples, the room being spacious gives a choice of two baths and a huge living room as well.

For its price, if you are looking for a short and comfortable stay, this hotel is definitely a good choice!

For our second trip we decided to give the Venetian a try. It is actually a subsidiary branch of the original in Las Vegas. I must compliment their amazing structures and internal Italian decor! The previous visit to Macau, we took a day tour to the Venetian. This time we arrived at the hotel during mid-hours.

Walking to our hotel room took quite some time. We had to literally walk through the entire casino! Even the standard sized room here is actually a suite! The marble floored oversized bathroom and European decor bedroom and living area was really grand.

For this one night living in the Venetian, Venice comes to Macau!!!

       To be continued...

    xoxo,

    Kimberly

  • * Best of October 2009 *

Besides Christmas and V-day, Halloween has always been one of my favourite festival!!! Unlike Christmas and Valentine's day, everyone has to be busy preparing presents and surprises for their other half, Halloween is a festival dedicated for yourself entirely. Not only do you get to party hard on Halloween night, you also get to shop for your desired costume!

Shopping is absolutely the best part in the progress of putting together a costume. I think you all must agree that it is way better than shopping for presents! Going to a costume shop is like a toy shop for adults. You get to see all these different crazy costumes from Batman to nun!!! The weird funky wigs are totally outrages!!!

For this year, it took me some time to figure out what i should be. The previous year I failed to participate in Halloween activities because I slept in :(! However, the year before I was school girl as the party theme at Dragon-i was 'School'.

I had quite a blast with this costume as all my friends were in their crazy school uniform as well! My godsister even dressed up as sexy teacher! :)

This year, it took me and my lg some time to find a suitable costume for both of us! At first, our original plan was to wear something matching. That didn't really work all that well. As we had no clue what we wanted to be. So we ended up randomly walking along the streets in search for our ideal costume. It did take us quite some time. We went to Matteo Party,a costume rental shop in cwb for help. However, we realized that the costumes that there weren't many good costumes left as they were all reserved way before time for Halloween.

Then we went to visit some funky sex shops in President Shopping Arcade(next to World Trade). The outfits there were all bedroom wear, not really something that we can use or call a costume...if you get what I mean. Anyways, no luck there!

After getting suggestions from our friends for where we should do costume shopping, we ended up going to Mongkok. We went through at least 10 lingerie stalls and looked through over 20 albums filled with underwear models until lg found my costume! As the other ones were pretty bad quality, when lg and I saw my costume (designed by Forplay), we were pretty certain that it is the right one! Lg bought my costume for me :)!

As for his we found it at a huge costume outlet shop nearby! It actually took him some time to decide whether to be a sailor to match with my costume or a highway buccaneer (spanish pirate). I guess in a way our costume matches, despite the fact that we are from different centuries, we both set sail! :)

Here are the photos from our night:

    Our sticker photos!!!

We partied at zuma and a random person's house (hoho)

So wicked evil chinese maid tried to seduce my hubby, but of course she didn't succeed!

my best friend tried to stab me to death!

    xoxo,
    Kimberly
